My India Today

So it was not Anureet Singh (caught by KKR Team Management at an Internet Cafe in Durban) claims KKR bigwigs who let him off the hook after massive brain storming. Now comes the turn of Rana Deb Bose who was humiliated and kicked out of KKR last IPL season and poor chap joined the ranks of King’s XI Punjab. Whether he can do it or not but one thing is for sure that the kind of writing style, humor and perfectly placed vocabs ruled out involvement of any player of KKR or any other team.

I got a phone call yesterday from Durban just after Punjab team’s memorable victory. One of my fellow journo was on the other side of line. Being a Bengali he was furious at the ongoing performance of his favorite KKR and now this blog. “I’m telling you one thing for sure, this is somebody out of press box,” he claimed after congratulating me for thumping victory of my favorite team. I do keep the similar viewpoint as my journalist friend because it is nearly impossible for a player involved in such a huge tournament to show his writing skills with complete anonymity and that too right under the nose of strictly vigilant team managements. Its one of the journalists or a well-known columnist on a special contract for sure. And who this contractor might be, no prizes for guessing.

By the way, within a few hours after a Singapore based news portal SecondCity.In break the news of  Anureet Singh getting caught red-handed in a Durban Internet Cafe, someone hacked the site and secondcity is still off air and giving indepth input from their twitter page . Though the blogger has bounced back with yet another post late last night much to the cheers of huge fan following, he is trying hard to make his readers believe that he is one of the players but I think readers are not fool anymore. They know that they are taken for a ride by some renowned journalist or writer for the sake of few personal grudges or huge bucks.
